11:50 PM: Ten minutes to kickoff. I am getting extremely nervous about this one. Will stick with gut feeling though and say Packers win 24-20.
12:06 PM: Packers defer after winning the toss and a reverse on the punt return. What world are we in?
12:08 PM: Terrible pass by Rodgers and the Packers, like the Vikings are three-and-out. Good first down run wasted. Slow start.
12:14 PM: Defense getting shredded on this Vikings drive. Bad feeling is getting worse.
12:19 PM: Held them to three anyway, defense came up big. Offense needs to get it going now.
12:22 PM: Kicking away from Shields already.
12:24 PM: Sweet! The old wrap-around hand-off is back! Gained 4 yards. Love it!
12:27 PM: Rodgers sacked, not a good sign. Packers need to keep him upright to win.
12:28 PM: Rodgers sacked again, the one-sack and win stat is out the window. Terrible start for the offense.
12:32 PM: Packers better try playing coverage, the blitz ain’t working. The OG is eating them up.
12:37 PM: Packers get a much needed turnover as the Vikings were marching down the field again. Come on offense! Rodgers first pass batted down. Going from bad to worse.
12:39 PM: James Jones drops a pass and the Packers punt again. This is going to be ugly before too long. Terrible punt to top it off. Get out the shot guns people, this is worse than Bristol Palin any day.
12:52 PM: Lucky catch by Jennings sets up a field goal, but the offense had it first down at the 30 and did nothing. Rodgers is getting harassed and Donald Driver can’t catch anymore. Not a good combination. We needed a big game from Double-D and but he must have gotten old, worried about other things than the catch.
12:58 PM: Defense holds, can we please get a few first downs offense. Do something!
1:01 PM: Packers got a first down, not too shabby. Now another one, and Driver didn’t drop it. Can you say rhythm.
1:05 PM: Rodgers comes alive! Packers actually take the lead 10-3. Great play by Rodgers and Jennings. Can they keep it up now?
1:11 PM: Peterson is ripping the Packers now, defense is tired and sloppy tackling is playing a part. Can’t let them tie it up before half. Can’t!
1:17 PM: Great play by Tramon Williams with a pick of Favre. Packers have a chance to add to the lead. Just don’t give it back to them. At least run the clock out.
1:24 PM: Packers convert for a 17-3 lead going into the half. Holy cow! Now can they hold on? It won’t be easy. It ain’t over yet.
1:47 PM: Packers give themselves a chance to win now, taking the opening kickoff 73 yards for a touchdown and a 24-3 lead. Far from over though, this is Brett Favre we are playing against. It ain’t over until the last pass is either intercepted or incomplete. Keep the hammer down!
1:52 PM: No quit in #4, this is going down to the wire. Hope the Packer offense is up to it.
1:59 PM: Vikings starting to get in self-destruct mode. Hope it keeps up. Tack one more TD on and this one might be over. At least keep the clock moving by moving the chains.
2:07 PM: Offense got a few first downs, one more TD would put this thing away now. Maybe a pick-six? I can’t believe the Vikings won’t make a comeback, Favre may not be great anymore but he is not a quitter. Buckle up folks.
2:12 PM: Defense held, almost to the final quarter. Feeling better, but still a long ways to go.
2:17 PM: Rodgers sacked. Big play by the Vikings, last thing we needed. Bad punt and bad tackle on the return. This could be turning.
2:31 PM: Aaron Rodgers makes a statement today. Anyone who thinks the Packers should have kept Favre looks pretty stupid now.
2:39 PM: This is one of the greatest wins in Packers’ history. The final nail in the Vikings playoff hopes and a complete beat-down of Brett Favre. And the ultimate f-you is taking Rodgers out with six minutes left in the game in Minnesota. Atlanta here we come!
