Aaron Rodgers might not like the phrase but the Packers are indeed in a “must win” situation this week in against the Titans in Tennessee. The Packers can ill afford another loss to a losing team with their season hanging in the balance. It is most definitely a must win considering the circumstances.
The Green Bay Packers are a crossroads in more ways than just the 2016 season, the head coach and general manager are under real heat for the first time in 10 years. The Packers seemed to have something good going on offense against Chicago and Atlanta, but were brought back to earth in an ugly loss to the Colts last week.
It seems like the Packers’ offense can’t find it’s identity, and looking back, it’s understandable considering their injury situation. I guess the same can be said on defense.
While I won’t back off completely on thinking it’s time for a change of leadership in Green Bay, I can see the challenge Mike McCarthy is facing not knowing who is playing from week to week. I think for this week, he will be successful.
The Packers were embarrassed last week and will be looking for revenge against the Titans. They may have never won a game in Nashville, but there is a first time for everything. Packers 34, Titans 17.
