The suspension, according to recent reports, is related to the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing substances.
This isn’t the first issue with Letroy since signing with the Packers in 2014. Guion was also suspended in 2015 for 3 games after being pulled over and arrested while being in possession of 357 grams of marijuana. In the car was also $190,000 and a 9mm hand gun.
The full financial impact of the suspension isn’t yet known but according to Adam Caplan of ESPN, Guion was due a $400k roster bonus on Saturday.
Although Guion has been an asset to the dominant Packers defensive front, Guion is turning 30 years and has two strikes against him while being with a team for three year.
