The Green Bay Packers got a must win last week in Chicago and now return home to face the 4-5 Baltimore Ravens. Another win and the Packers will remain firmly in the playoff hunt, and keep alive the hopes of seeing quarterback Aaron Rodgers again.
The Packers found a running game last week in Chicago and will try to establish it again against the Ravens’ 27th ranked run defense. They better, because the Ravens are ranked 2nd against the pass. Brett Hundley will have to be very carefull with the football and take what the defense gives them. I’m not expecting a huge game by Hundley, game manager will enough I think.
On defense the Packers will need to focus on stopping the run. The Ravens are 10th rushing but are 32nd passing. What always scares me about this is whenever a team is dead last at something, they light up Dom Capers’ defense. The Packers cannot let that happen tomorrow if they are giving extra resources to stopping the run.
With Rodgers I would think the Packers win in a rout, but with Hundley it will obviously be much closer. I say Hundley evens his starting record at 2-2. Packers 24, Ravens 17.
