The Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers face off Sunday night for first place in the NFC. Of course, New Orleans, Seattle, and Minnesota are well in the hunt for the number one seed, but a win at San Fran would be huge for the Packers considering their remaining schedule.
After Sunday the Packers only play one team with a winning record, a December 23rd trip to Minihaha. Other than that, the Packers play cupcakes like Chicago, the New York Giants, the Redskins and the hapless Lions.
The Packers would have good reason to be looking ahead to some easy wins after beating the 49ers and taking control of the NFC. While that may very well be what they are thinking, I don’t think it will stop them from beating the 49ers.
I think the 49ers are a good and upcoming team, but not quite ready for prime time. The Packers have Aaron Rodgers and the 49ers don’t. Green Bay takes it 28-14.
